BlackBerry ha annunciato ufficialmente il suo smartphone DTEK60, dispositivo che ha fatto molto parlare di se’ nei giorni precedenti in quanto è stato disponibile per il pre-ordine presso alcuni rivenditori e inoltre di questo smartphone di Blackberry, nome in codice ‘Argon’, sono state anche pubblicate le specifiche sul sito ufficiale di Blackberry, quindi era davvero questione di giorni la presentazione ufficiale. BlackBerry DTEK60 aveva anche ricevuto le certificazioni FCC e Wi-Fi Alliance.
BlackBerry DTEK60 offre un corpo metallico con un rivestimento a doppio vetro, bordi contenuti e angoli laterali curvi, proprio come il BlackBerry Priv. Le specifiche ufficiali includono un display da 5,5 pollici con risoluzione QHD (1440 x 2560 pixel), un chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 con processore quad-core (lo stesso del Galaxy S7 di Samsung), 4GB di RAM, 32 GB di memoria integrata, un sensore di impronte digitali, USB di tipo C, e una batteria da 3,000mAh. Per quanto concerne il comparto fotografico, il DTEK60 ha un sensore principale da 21MP posteriore e un sensore secondario da 8MP sul fronte.
DTEK60 di BlackBerry esegue il sistema operativo Android 6.0 Marshmallow, con possibile futuro aggiornamento ad Android 7.x Nougat.
BlackBerry DTEK60 è disponibile in Canada al prezzo di 499 dollari, venduto SIM-free.
