Spotify con i Secret Genius Awards festeggia i cantautori

Spotify ha rivelato le nomination per i Secret Genius Awards 2017, con i premi che saranno assegnati l’1 novembre presso la cattedrale di Vibiana a Los Angeles. I premi Secret Genius sono stati ideati per celebrare le persone della comunità di scrittori di canzoni che contribuiscono al lavoro creativo dietro alcune delle canzoni più trasmesse su Spotify.

I premi vengono assegnati per 13 categorie principali con cinque candidati ciascuna e comprendono il premio al Secret Genius dell’Anno: Produttore, al Secret Genius dell’Anno: Scrittore e altri. In aggiunta a questi, saranno assegnati premi speciali tra cui il Secret Genius: New Songwriter Grant e un premio d’onore Legendary Genius.

Chi presenterà la cerimonia di premiazione, gli ospiti che annunceranno i premi di ogni categoria e gli artisti che prenderanno parte all’evento saranno annunciati prossimamente.

"Oggi siamo onorati di annunciare i candidati per il 2017, costituiti da un famoso gruppo di creatori e produttori dotati, inventivi e limitatori che rappresentano il meglio della musica dell’anno scorso" ha scritto Spotify nel suo blog.

I songwriter e i produttori ammissibili alle nomination sono stati identificati in base al numero totale di streaming da parte delle canzoni più importanti nel contesto del rispettivo genere o categoria generale tra l’1 aprile 2016 e l’1 luglio 2017.
