Nvidia GeForce Now su Android ora disponibile

E’ disponibile per i dispositivi Android la nuova applicazione GeForce Now di Nvidia che trasforma il dispositivo Android in un dispositivo da gioco mobile ad alte prestazioni: si collega in streaming ai supercomputer di cloud gaming di Nvidia per lo streaming di popolari giochi per PC direttamente sullo smartphone.

L’app GeForce NOW funziona con telefoni Android con almeno 2GB di memoria RAM e sistema operativo Android 5.0 (Lollipop) o versioni successive. Per la migliore esperienza, Nvidia consiglia il collegamento dello smartphone ad una rete WiFi a 5GHz con accesso a internet di velocità almeno 15mbps e ad un gamepad bluetooth tra quelli compatibili (ad esempio: controller SHIELD, Razer Raiju Mobile, SteelSeries Stratus Duo). All’interno dell’applicazione c’è la sezione ‘Test Network’ in cui è possibile testare al connessione attuale con specificati gli eventuali problemi dove ci sono (dispositivo, rete WiFi, ISP (operatore), server di Nvidia).

Da ricordare che il gaming è in streaming, il che significa che c’è un continuo – e anche importante – flusso di scambio dati attraverso internet, quindi è sconsigliato l’utilizzo del servizio attraverso connessioni a consumo (che si basa in base al consumo di internet) o legate ad offerte con quantità limitate di ‘giga’.

Scaricare l’applicazione Nvidia GeForceNOW non dà l’accesso al servizio, bisogna avere un account GeForce attivato in precedenza dal PC, MAC o Shield. Se non si dispone di un account attivo, è possibile unirsi alla lista d’attesa sul sito ufficiale www.geforcenow.com. L’abbonamento a GeForce NOW costa 9,99 euro al mese – disattivabile in qualsiasi momento – e include l’accesso immediato a una libreria di giochi per PC molto amati e la possibilità di acquistare le nuove uscite videoludiche dallo store.
